Located a few miles northeast of Benton Harbor, Sarett Nature Center is a real gem. Pick up a map, then set off to

floodplain of the Paw Paw River. On the floodplain you'll encounter a variety of watery habitats, including wet forests,

cattail marches, fens, and shrub carrs. Boardwalks and observations platforms allow you to venture into the very heart
of the wetlands without getting your feet wet.
The birdwatching at Sarett is excellent. The preserve's 800 acres are home to some 300 species, including ducks, herons,
you're sure to enjoy this special place.
