Rose's Special Events & Activity Weekends

Rose's Retreat is open to all guests on special events weekends, even if you do not wish to participate in the special activities.

Paintball Weekend ~ An area of about 18 acres will be marked off for paintball play. Small or large groups can reserve the area for paintball play for an additional $3 for RR guests and $6 for guests not staying with us.

Wine Tasting Weekend ~ Enjoy wines from some of the local area wineries.

Nature Weekend ~ Guided nature walks by David, who is trained in plant identification, tracking, and survival skills. Scouting or homeschool groups can arrange special classes. David is an Eagle Scout!

Arts & Cafts Weekend ~ Craft activities will be available for guests. David will lead a group in building a rustic bench (item to be build may change) and Wynter will lead a group in scrapbooking & card making. All supplies and materials are provided. Children's crafts will include tye-dying and nature crafts.


Construction Project Weekends ~ Rose's Retreat is remodeling! These weekends offer free lodging & drinks in exchange for at least 4 hours of painting. The construction project weekends can be on any weekend from November until Memorial Day.


Scrapbooking Weekends ~ Scrapbooking equipment such as a die cuting machine, embossing plates, scissors, punches, and much more are available and set up for use for a flat fee of $25 per weekend. The group cabin is the perfect place for a scrapbooking party!
